Discover the premier dog walking experience in Fort Lauderdale at ReevetheDogWalker.com. Our professional and reliable dog walking services ensure your furry friend gets the exercise and attention they deserve, making us the top choice for discerning pet owners in the Fort Lauderdale area.

Dog walkers are not all the same. I specialize in treating your dog as my own family member. Each dog is different, and has their own personality.  I like to spend time with your dog to get to know them. A Fort Lauderdale dog walker and pet sitter is an important decision for any animal lover, and being Fort Lauderdale’s most trusted dog walker is what I pride myself on!

Your needs, and your dogs needs are my top priority. If you need individual dog walking, group walks, dog park visits, or pet sitting, I'm available to care for your dog in the same loving way that you would.

I'm also available for dog training sessions, if you need help with behavioral issues. My dog training sessions are a tw0-pronged approach: dog behavior evaluation and training, and then owner behavior training! The two must go hand in hand in order for any new behavior to be successful. A consistent approach is the most important element in the training process.

My Services

PRIVATE WALK

Private walks are what most of my clients prefer, and I'm happy to take your loved ones on a half hour, or full hour walk.

Daycare

Sometimes dog owners want to leave their dogs at home and need me to come feed them, walk them or give them their medicines. I'm  available to help with your needs. Just ask me!

Drop in Visit

A Drop In Visit is perfect for a quick potty break and bit of play for the middle of the day.

Dog Training

Exercise, discipline and then affection. That's the holy trinity of dog training. A well exercised dog helps them to relax and prepare for learning basic commands. I follow proven methods of training and share them with the owners so that repetition and consistency become the cornerstone for a well trained pup.

Reviews, kudos, & Woofs

Reeve was wonderful with our dog, Kona. He welcomed her into his home and took wonderful care of her. We will be happy to use him again.
— Ian O. (Fort Lauderdale)

— Ning F.
Reeve has been taking care of Samantha, my Boston Terrier, for the last 6 years! He was the first person I called when I got my second puppy, an adorable Pug named Rosie. He treats them just like his own.
— Robert Brown
Reeve was did a great job walking my beagle, Tucker. He is friendly, experienced, and reliable. I will definitely be using Yariv again soon and would recommend him to others.
— Jonathan M.
Yariv did a wonderful job taking care of my Australian Shepherd! He is very professional and enthusiastic. He makes sure to send updates including pictures, which I really appreciate. Highly recommended!
— Arie N.
Reeve did a fantastic job with Maria! My schedule wasn’t so flexible, but he really made it very easy to book. My little Boston Terrier usually comes back from her walk still full of energy and still ready to go, but he must have worked some magic on her because she was totally played out when she came back from her walk.
Reeve was very nice and Maria loved him! He gets four stars from me, and I’ll book him again.
— Hank L.
Reeve is hands down the best dog walker and pet sitter I could have ever asked for. Reeve has worked with me and my dogs every week for the past 8+ years. He is extremely skilled and experienced with handling all types of dogs, of all ages and all temperaments. He understands dogs and offers valuable tips for training, exercise, diet and socialization.

He started working with me at a time when I had a mid/senior dog. He showed lots of compassion and dedication to my dog’s needs. When I got a puppy later on, not only did Reeve increase the level of attention needed to care for my puppy, he was also instrumental in helping me train and socialize my puppy and getting him off to the right start.

He communicates updates with me on each visit and sends photos. Also, when I go on vacation I trust only Reeve with the 24-7 care of my dogs. My dogs absolutely love him - I can tell by the sheer excitement they exude whenever he walks into the room!

Reeve has so much passion for dogs, and it truly comes through in his work. He genuinely cares about every single dog in his care. He is no ordinary dog walker ... he is a highly skilled and passionate dog caregiver ... he is simply the best.
— Kim Le
Reeve took care of my two dogs for over eight years. Reeve was always very hands-on and would go the extra mile: he would not just walk and feed our dogs, but he would also help train them. For example, when one of my dogs was a puppy, Reeve spent a lot of time getting him acclimated to loud noises and more confident in his walks. Reeve is a person who really cares about and is very knowledgeable about dogs; in fact, dogs are his life! Dogs, in turn, really respond to Reeve. My dogs would light up when they saw him and run to him excitedly. That’s because Reeve treats the dogs that he takes care of as one of his own, and dogs love him for it. Reeve was also very good about communicating with us and letting us know if there was ever an issue (such as a potential stomach issue which might require a vet visit). In sum, I trusted Reeve 100% with my dogs, and could not recommend him more.

Dear Fellow Dog Lovers:
It is such a pleasure to write this letter of recommendation for Reeve and the service he provides in as a Dog Walker & Trainer.

Prior to moving from New York to Fort Lauderdale Florida, Reeve spent 15 months as the primary trainer and walker for our puppy, Arya. The first time Reeve met our puppy Arya, it was obvious that he had a great affinity and love for animals. He was friendly yet assertive towards Arya and she responded in kind. As Arya was our first puppy, Reeve spent quite a bit of time talking us through all the stages of puppy-hood (everything from treat & toy recommendations to dealing with Arya’s teething, separation anxiety, & getting over her fear of water).

Reeve’s services went beyond just the time he spent with Arya. For example, once we ran out of food and the local shops all sold out. We called Yariv and he immediately went to the local shops in his neighborhood to help get it for us.

Reeve was Arya’s daily walker but he has also taken care of Arya on numerous occasions when we traveled for weeks at a time or simply away for the weekend. He was diligent in feeding, walking, training, and making sure Arya was safe at all times. In addition, Yariv always gave us a full report on Arya on a daily basis.

Reeve is reliable and always willing to help. For example, one of the first days we had Arya, she learned to escape her play area when we were not home. We noticed this on the Nest Camera, so we called Reeve. He was able to get to our apartment and safely secure Arya back in her gated play area.

There are not many people in whom we would fully trust to properly care for our dog in our absence, but Reeve is one of them. We highly recommend his services and would be glad to answer any questions about the care he provides.
— Sincerely, Amit & Shruti Patel
I highly recommend Reeve the Dog Walker for your pup and best friend! Reeve is very trustworthy and has an incredible relationship with his four-legged clients. He built a strong relationship with our dog and was proactive in helping us with training techniques and successful means to communicate better with our French Bulldog, Hank. He is a dog whisperer in the truest sense! Reeve is always friendly and kind and you can tell the pack that follows him loves him as well.

When I moved to New York City with a 9 month Golden Retriever I knew I was going to have my hands full, so I was determined to find a great dog walker that not only walked Ollie..but would help me train him and raise him to be a disciplined, fun and polite dog.

I struck gold when I found Reeve! Reeve is incredibly passionate about his craft, and see’s himself as an extension of the owner and goes above and beyond to make sure your dog is well taken care of, healthy and developing.

Reeve would take Ollie for 30 min walks, take him on hour long trips to the dog park, board Ollie at his house and he even stayed at my house with Ollie the first couple of times I had to leave for a business trip to make Ollie as comfortable as possible.

Over the year that Reeve was Ollies walker, Reeve was instrumental in developing strong habits (No pulling, sitting at the light, not jumping up, etc.) and helped me grow as a new dog owner..with tips on toys, food, exercise options, and so much more.

Lastly, Reeve was extremely good at communication. We had a great dialogue over text message, and he was quick to call if there was any issue. He was timely in checking in with me to see what the weekly schedules were, and overall just made my whole experience with raising a puppy in the city much more manageable.

I’d strongly recommend Reeve to anyone looking for a dog walker or someone to help them train their dog. Ollie and I both miss Reeve a lot!

Please call me if you’d like to hear about my experience working with Reeve. (310-422-7346)

When moving to NYC back in 2011 I was very stressed in finding a dog walker for my Puppy French Bulldog Brutus. I never wanted to leave him boarded all day long or just let any random stranger into my home but the day I met Yariv everything changed and I couldn’t have been happier. He became Brutus’s best friend within seconds and Brutus loved him and his two dogs (Roxy and Rufus). I noticed right away that his own dogs were so well behaved and were always in the best shape and so happy. They would play together so well and Yariv even helped trained Brutus from the very start. Brutus became potty trained, he actually walked on his leash (instead of just sitting down and not moving), he taught him to play fetch and be sociable around other dogs. He even helped Brutus overcome his fears of jumping on and off the couch!!! I couldn’t be more happy. He is very hands on with all dogs and I could see immediate results with ours. He became part of our family not only to Brutus but to us as well. We love Yariv and would not trust our dog with anyone else. I would recommend Yariv to anyone as he is very knowledgeable with dogs, their behaviors and their needs. I am definitely stress-free when my dog is in his hands. Thank you for existing Yariv, I can’t thank you enough!!!!
